Sexy Sippin: 7 Different Ways To Make A Mimosa

The mimosa is a refreshing champagne cocktail originally created at the Ritz Hotel in Paris in 1925. Typically served in a champagne flute, a basic mimosa recipe features Champagne, chilled orange juice and orange liqueur.​ The mimosa is mainly famous as an early morning appetizer drink. Due to the fact that orange juice is its main ingredient. What many fail to realize is the mimosa was originally generated as a night-time appetizer drink.​

So now we have to ask; How often do you re-vamp your mimosa? Did you think their was only way to make a mimosa? Not true.  ​ Learn these 7 different ways to make your mimosa interesting……​

1. Party Mimosa– Stir together apricot nectar, pineapple juice, water, and orange juice concentrate in a large pitcher until combined. Pour in bottle of sparkling wine just before serving.

2. Holiday Mimosa– Pour the orange liqueur in a shallow bowl; put the sugar in a saucer. Dip just the rims of 6 glasses in the orange liqueur and then in the sugar to form a thin sugared rim. Divide remaining orange liqueur and orange juice among the 6 prepared glasses. Top with champagne. Serve immediately.

3. Cranberry Mimosa Fill twelve 12-ounce glasses with ice; pour 1/3 cup cranberry juice into each glass. Top each serving with 1/3 cup orange juice and about 1/2 cup Champagne. Garnish with orange slices, if desired.

4. Mimosa Punch- Put 1 can cold but thawed orange juice concentrate into a punch bowl or in a large pitcher. Stir to soften. Stir in 4 cups cold club soda. Then add the sparkling wine and stir gently. Pour into champagne flutes or coupes and serve. {Paula Deen is the source of this recipe}

6. Sea Breeze Mimosa– Pour cranberry juice and grapefruit juice into a champagne flute or a thin glass. Fill the remaining flute or glass with champagne or sparkling wine. Serve immediately and keep the juices and bubbly chilled for refills. {My recipe.com is the source of this recipe}
